Delphi XM SkyFi2 Review at CNET
CNET has this review of the Delphi XM SkyFi2. It received a 7.2 out of 10 rating from the editor, which translates to “very good.”
To actually hear some XM radio with the SkyFi2 you will need either the home or car adapter kits or one of the two boombox kits - one that has a cd player and one that doesn’t.
The SkyFi2 is a tiny little guy, coming in at just 4.6″ x 2.9″ x 1.25″(HWD) and weighing only 5.2 ounces. The best new feature of the Delphi SkyFi2 is the 30 minute buffer, which is similar to Sirius’ Sportster Replay, in which you can rewind 30 minutes worth to hear something you might have missed or just replay something.
They SkyFi2 also has a built in FM modulator that let’s you transmit to any unused FM radio station. The SkyFi2 also has a higher volume level over the original SkyFi.
